Who we are
Together, we bring over 100 years of lived experience in education, inclusion and helping learners build the skills we now recognise as executive function, for example: time management, organisation, working memory and self-monitoring.
Fiona
A dedicated educator and facilitator, I have worked as lecturer, mentor, study coach, disability advisor and needs assessor for Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) across higher and secondary education. As well as giving me an understanding of educational landscapes, they continue to inform my coaching philosophy, collaborative approach and resource design, enabling me to bridge understanding between systems and families.
I am passionate about shifting the narrative around learning differences, creating spaces where they’re understood, embraced and reframed as strengths. My focus is centred on empowering neurodiverse learners and helping families feel confident, supported and informed.
I am a lifelong learner, committed to both personal and professional growth. I actively invest in my own development and continuously refine my approach based on lived experiences and evolving insights.

My professional portfolio includes years of teaching information technology, conducting Disabled Students’ Allowance assessments (DSA), and advising on inclusive practices within higher education and beyond.
My work bridges the gap between technological innovation and equitable access to learning. By combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of educational systems, I develop tailored strategies and solutions that empower students to engage fully and confidently in their academic journeys.
As an active researcher, I have published widely and received multiple institutional and national awards recognising my contributions to inclusive education and assistive technology. My commitment to accessibility is both professionally and personally driven by a belief that thoughtful design and inclusive practice are essential to creating transformational learning environments.
